The Axum Committee of Denver Sister Cities International is pleased to share that grant support has been awarded through The Denver Foundation for the Axum Relief Fund.
The grant, provided through a fund of The Denver Foundation, reflects community support for humanitarian efforts connected to Denver’s sister city relationship with Axum, Ethiopia.
This contribution helps strengthen ongoing relief efforts and demonstrates how sister city partnerships can extend beyond cultural exchange to include meaningful support during times of need.
Denver’s relationship with Axum has long been rooted in friendship, shared understanding, and community engagement. Through the work of the Axum Committee, that relationship continues to include both cultural connection and humanitarian awareness.
